We'd like to thank you all for the fantastic new designs you've been pooling together in our Design Contest. It seems that we'll be having quite a hard time choosing which designs get to be winners. We're planning to print 1 or 2 designs very soon.
Please promote itself to all your contacts and tell them to visit our site, become members and vote for the designs.

Just wanted to suggest two things about the site, one is the possibility of having a personal site link on the profile (ehehehhe, personal marketing always) and the second is to try and resolve that comment/leave the design page system, it's a bit annoying LOL
Other than that, best of lucks to evryone! ;D
PLEASE change the voting system to POSITIVE ONLY while you still can! check designbyhumans.com to see how good it works. the atmosphere on the site will immediately become more positive/creative/inspiring. there's absolutely NO NEED to allow people vote negative since only the positive votes is what shows how many people would buy the shirt! it's REALLY annoying to designers to receive two to three zero votes immediately after submiting the design. people SHOULDN'T feel pissed of about submiting designs, am i not right?
Lots of nice designs here, I can see how the decision would be difficult. Good Luck to you making the decision and to all the designers!
Altought I must agree that positive voting is better psichologiclay I also think a system wich only counts number of "I want" votes would be based more on th number of pople you can marketeer no vote on your design rather than merit... meaning whoever can get more firends voting wins... not the fairest system also.
There's an easier way, just establish a system which ignores votes from people who give more than let's say 60% of zeros, or just era se the zero vote, cuz no matter how bad a dsign is always worth someting...
why unfair? they wont pick the designs according to how many votes it has anyway. it's great that you're encouraged to promote your works more. if you're marketing "itself" that much you deserve to have more votes. cause more people coming to the site means more people buying the shirts means "itself" more happy means designers get paid more often
ah then these are marketing contests! LOL I always though of them as design contests so I see what I've been doing wrong :P
not true menosketiago...i mean, only partially true. these are design contests, but, as always getting printed is at the mercy of the owners.. votes are just a way to check the feedback from potential clients. in which case, a positive only system is just as efficient as a system where i see people calling 10 friends to 5 some mediocre at best designs.or worse, to 0 the competition. Both ways, keep up the good work, itself deserves some kickass designs!

And how much colors do you provide for a design (not including t-shirt color)?
hmm some good points. unfortunately, i'm sure there are quite a few people out there that will abuse the voting system to further the chances of their own design. on the other hand, i don't think the voting should purely depend on how much traffic you are able to bring to a site. I don't know. who knows man? let's just grab some drinks and call it a party
